Frequently Asked Questions

The PPP Exchange.
Answered with care.

We’ve gathered the questions we hear most often from retailers considering the Exchange. If you’re wondering how this works or whether it’s a fit, you’re in the right place.

About the Invitation

i

Why was I invited?

We reached out based on a combination of past conversations, recommendations from vendors and reps we trust, and what we see from your store publicly. Taken together, it suggested the Exchange could support how you already operate, without asking you to change what’s working.

ii

Is there any cost to participate?

No. There are no fees, platform charges, or required spend.

How It Works

iii

How does the 5% savings work?

When placing an order, share your Exchange number with the vendor. The 5% savings is applied directly to your invoice, before freight and tax.

iv

Do I order differently as an Exchange retailer?

No. You order directly with participating vendors the same way you do today, whether that’s through your rep, at a show, or online. The only thing that changes is sharing your Exchange number when you order.

v

Are Net 30 terms included?

In most cases, yes. Many participating vendors offer Net 30 terms. In some situations, a vendor may require a standard credit application or offer alternative terms. When that happens, it’s clearly communicated so you can decide what works best for your store.

vi

How much time does this take?

Very little. The only added step is a brief quarterly check-in to confirm your purchases. Most retailers complete it in under ten minutes.

Participation & Vendors

vii

What does active participation mean?

Active participation means placing orders with Exchange vendors over time and completing the brief quarterly confirmation. Because this is a limited pilot, continued participation is based on staying engaged with the program.

ix

Can I suggest vendors?

Yes. Retailer input is an important part of how the Exchange grows, and we welcome your suggestions.

Commitment

x

What is the commitment for the Exchange?

The Exchange is a one-year pilot. We ask participating retailers to commit to the full year so the program can deliver meaningful results for both retailers and vendors. If something changes along the way, we’re always open to a conversation.

xi

What happens after the first year?

At the end of the pilot year, we’ll connect with you to review your experience and talk through next steps together.
